Waiting

I have never ever been good at waiting.  I suck at it.  I have gotten better at it, now I just worry the whole time I am waiting.  BLAH. 

I should know the answer to my little sumthin by end of this week.  Today went by slow.. I imagine tomorrow will be worse.  Did I mention I banned chocolate from my mouth.. yeah.. I think that ban is going OUT the window tonight.  I predict a pack of Suzie Q’s in my near future!! 

I wasn’t going to write about the sumthin… thinking it might jinx me or my luck.. but maybe if I say it, you all can think good vibes and reassure me how fabulous I am and why I totally should get picked

The dealio…  there is a mom in my local SM*C group who has left over embryo’s from her IVF that she is not going to use.  The embryos are the result of donor egg and donor sperm.  They are 7 years old and on ice in La* J*olla.  She got PG on her first fresh IVF (she was 42 at the time).  The egg donor was a young 19YO.  1/2 of the eggs went in to the freezer at day 1 (motel manager.. I believe your clinic does it this way).  3 embryos were transferred at day 3 and the pregnancy resulted in twins.  She lost a twin at 8 weeks, but carried to term her cutie little boy.  The rest of the embryos were frozen but she can’t remember if they went to blast or went in at day 3.  Anyhoo…  I am hoping to be picked.  I am praying to be picked… I NEED to be picked!!!  So.. now I wait for her final decision.  It would be perfect for her and I.  The kids would grow up knowing the story and knowing they are siblings.  We live just about an hour apart and she and her son are great, so spending time with them would be a blast! 

Let’s all hold hands, cross our fingers, toes and eyes and wish this miracle upon me.. shall we??
