And The Verdict Is In…..

So, yesterday came and my boss was on vacation.. so what do two employees whose boss is away do… they cut work and go see SATC!!  It was a blast.. a great movie.. I remembered how Samantha I always was and at the end when she hand fed her puppy in the fancy bag… Debbie bust out laughing saying how totally me that was.  It was a great movie.. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to own it on DVD   After the movie, Deb and I went back to work.. well I did.. for like 45 min.  Then left early and headed home to do some cleaning.  I didn’t get any done this weekend because Sat I was in Discovery Bay for girls night with my oldest bestest friends Amy and Melody.  We sat outside on the front porch drinking wine and beer and telling stories and laughing and it was the best night ever. 

OHHHH so you want to know what she said..  Well I knew that she said she would have a decision after the weekend.. but you know.. I thought I would get another email saying.. I need a few more days.  So I refused to check my email last night.  Then I woke up thinking about checking and decided not to cuz if the answer was no I would have a hard time going back to sleep.  Even though I had honestly not worried too much about it, but the rejection would be hard.  So this morning I got up and looked and there was that email.  And it said..   “I PICKED YOU TRACEY!!!!” 

I am sooo excited and thank GOD for holding me close to his heart and giving me peace with whatever decision she made.  I trusted in Him and He sees fit for this to happen.. so I will be happy and excited and start planning away!  We have a contract that we will sign and then from there it is working up to a FET.  I will for sure keep you all posted.  I know I said it already, but I am sooo excited and so lucky and so hopeful!!!  Thanks for all of the kind words and support… you all are the BEST!!!!

On the foster-adopt front.  I have one more class left and will keep moving forward with it.. though I don’t feel the pressure of getting it all done ASAP.  I have some breathing room.  I will just work more slowly to get all the “must haves” done.   I won’t put it on pause, because I am realistic.. I mean not all embryos thaw … I have been there and done that! 

So, today is FABULOUS day and I hope you all have Fab days too!!!
